This beautiful picture was the inspiration behind five years of volunteer effort to build something similar for the youngsters of Cambridgeshire to enjoy. Watergall School were winners of the Perkins Engines Environmental Teamwork Awards back in 1995. This picture (in one of Perkins own wildlife havens) coupled with the company’s continual environmental commitment inspired several Perkins employees to seek out a spare piece of land in Peterborough to create another wildlife haven
